Collaborate with professionals to match patient needs with appropriate service providers. Insures accuracy of demographic and insurance information. Accurately and efficiently performs registration, pre-registration, insurance verification/authorization functions. Reports to Revenue Cycle Manager. Senior Staff Reports: VP Of Administration/CFO Duties: Answers patient intake calls. Automated patient scheduling. Collecting, interpreting and entering all relevant demographic and insurance information. Obtains, verifies and documents insurance eligibility, co-pay/deductible information; and required authorizations. Follows up with client in a timely personable manner should such information be found to be incomplete/incorrect. Communicates referral, copay and deductible information to clients. Job Specifications: Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding customer service skills and ultimate professionalism demonstrated by patience, understanding and grace focused on assisting clients/family members and other staff to meet core values . Fast and friendly keeping in mind that we are here to serve the clients and the community. Technical Skills: Meets highest standards of telephone etiquette. Accurate and timely data entry skills. Qualifications: Superior customer service and communication skills. Experience in scheduling preferred. Detail oriented, multitasking abilities and excellent problem solving skills.
